About Permute
Your Agentic data team.
Permute solves your toughest data problems so AI and analytics actually work.
Built by operators, for operators
Permute was founded by engineers who've lived on both sides of the problem: building data infrastructure and running businesses that depend on it. We know what it feels like when data is everywhere, AI can't be trusted, and simple questions take weeks to answer.
Our team spans Y Combinator (2017), MLOps, Generative AI, Cybersecurity, Finance, and Space & Defense. That breadth is deliberate. The problems we solve sit at the intersection of all of them.
We've watched companies spend millions on consultants and data teams, only to end up with infrastructure that becomes technical debt, dashboards nobody trusts, and AI pilots that stall because the foundation underneath is broken. There's a better way.
Our mission: Give every business a trusted data foundation so AI and analytics actually work—in weeks, not quarters, and without needing to hire an entire data team.
Our Approach
Your data, made usable
We connect, clean, and unify the data trapped across your stack into a single trusted foundation. Use your existing warehouse or ours.
AI you can trust
Custom models and ontologies encode your business logic so agents stay grounded in your definitions, not generic guesses. No more hallucinations.
Self-service analytics
Business teams ask plain-language questions and get traceable answers in seconds. Simple questions stop taking weeks and a consultant.
