Revoke an explicit permission grant

Requires resource access-management authority or the applicable workspace/organization administration. Deletes only this stored grant; ownership, membership or other grants may still provide access. The built-in workspace member-access rule cannot be removed here. Existing scoped grants can be revoked by ID. Hosted app, delegated action, MCP and connector sessions are excluded.

DELETE/v1/permissions/{permissionId}

When to use

Remove an explicit grant by its returned ID.

For agents

Current access-management authority is checked before revocation. Built-in workspace membership access cannot be deleted here. Removing one grant may leave access through membership, ownership or other grants. Inspect current access afterward if you need to establish the result.

Example

typescript
import { PermuteClient } from '@permute/sdk';

const orgClient = new PermuteClient({
  apiKey: process.env.PERMUTE_API_KEY!,
});

const result = await orgClient.permissions.delete("perm_abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwx");
